“Maja Mirek is the mistress of the stage. Her patterns of movement, at times graceful, at times fierce, merge through tireless energy into a vibrant fusion of charisma. Her danced art is remarkably precise.
(…) Gustavo de Oliveira Leite joins Mirek in delivering a dynamic pas de deux of the highest caliber—a true pinnacle of performance”.

Am Ende
What does it take to generate hope? What certainties can we rely on? How does personal confidence develop into a collectively shared dream? ‘Am Ende’ is about an attitude to life that is practised in enduring vagueness and unpredictability without closing our eyes to the future. Instead of keeping us passive or naïve, hope opens up a space for imagination, for agency, vigour and creative ways of change that not only include trust in one's own life. The dance ensemble explores the paralysis of hopelessness in the face of threatening global destruction scenarios as well as the hopeful mobilisation of bodies. It spans an arc from Baroque times to the future and from the deepest forest to protest on the street.
