photographer

In my work as a photographer, I try to combine both: artistry and technicality. Examples of photographic projects you can commission me with:

  • portraits

I want to implement two major elements when it comes to portraits: momentum & spontaneity. Momentum means establishing a friendly connection, meaning you are truly yourself when taking the shots without forcing a certain atmosphere - I want you to feel at ease. Spontaneity represents the art of responding to your situational ideas or suggestions. Portraits are not made, they evolve through the collaboration of me and you; you are equally important for achieving the perfect shot.

  • documentary photography (theatre/performances/projects/behind the scenes/rehearsals/events/…)

What sets my approach apart is my understanding of the dancer's perspective and the importance of capturing the essence and emotion of each performance. Through the lens of my camera, I aim to preserve the ambience of your theatrical productions. I know the importance of timing, angles, and lighting to truly showcase the beauty of movement.

  • documenting/portraying you or you and your chosen; while you're going through the worst or  best  phase of your life

Life is difficult, and commissioning photographers is something many simply can not afford. I am willing to consider your socioeconomic situation. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need photographs for a cause/story that is important to you or your community, but have little to no budget to hire a photographer. I am happy to hear from you and if your project aligns with my personal/political values and my capacities allow so, I am probably willing to support you. I would like to ask you to be very clear and upfront about your budget situation. Thank you!

I'm immensely stoked to be telling your story through my lens(es) and I eagerly anticipate having you being part of my journey!

dancer/performer

Over the past three years working in Stadttheater Gießen, I've had the privilege of stepping into various roles on stage, each one a chapter in my theatrical journey. From heartwarming moments to hilarious mishaps, every experience has shaped me into the performer I am today. With a background in both theatre and freelance work, I offer creativity, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to different environments and artistic visions. Whether you're seeking a technical dancer for a choreographed piece, a versatile performer for a theatrical production, or someone who can seamlessly blend both worlds, I am here to bring your vision to fruition.

Please find more information in section DANCE where I present a selection of productions I was part of as a dancer/performer.
Should my presence align with the choreography of your envisioned dance performance or project, I extend an earnest invitation to connect. Allow me the privilege to bring forth the embodiment of your vision, weaving movements that dance upon the stage with grace, purpose and a touch of madness.

For the upcoming 2024/25 season, I'll be on a part-time contract, giving me the opportunity to collaborate with you.

assistant choreographer

I became an assistant choreographer and rehearsal director for the production of In decent Times (2024) in Stadttheater Gießen. In addition, I lead the Physical Introduction format for this performance, which means that the audience has the chance to get to know the performance from the physical side during a half-hour movement workshop.

In my work as an assistant, I try to support the choreographer or director not only with my dance education and stage experience but also with my artistic experience developed during my art and journalism studies (MA and BA). I collaborate, I submit to discussion, ask inquisitive questions. In addition, I offer support with my skilled eye as a photographer and help to emphasise the essence/metaphor/significance of the details through solutions seen from a broader perspective. I also work individually with the dancers, practising movement qualities and exploring intentions. Moreover, I have experience in leading morning warm-ups before rehearsals, which combine warming up the body and voice.
